ABOUT US
We don’t believe in saving quality just for Sunday. Our name means Beloved in Yoruba, and we design for the world’s flyest and most dynamic kids. From their first steps through to age 12, our garments are made to handle the intensity of young life!
Founded in Victoria Island, Lagos in 2024 by Tara Olajide, the label uses clothing to connect children across the diaspora to their roots. Every piece is artisan-made in Lagos using Adire, a traditional Yoruba indigo dye technique, and 100% Nigerian Funtua cotton. We’ve evolved past the stiff, restrictive fabrics of traditional occasion wear, prioritising movement and durability without compromising on craft. We treat production as a form of professional knowledge, ensuring that the skill of our Makers is valued as high-level expertise.
For us, impact is a meaningful cultural exchange. By instilling a sense of pride early on, we help children build the confidence that informs their interpersonal relationships and how they move through the world. Whether you are part of the diaspora or an ally learning about our heritage, we invite you to participate in a culture that is active, evolving, and lived.
